2024 UN Country Team Zimbabwe Common Country Analysis

This Common Country Analysis (CCA) update seeks to analyze implications on the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Zimbabwe given changes in the legal, political, institutional, policy and financial landscape, as well as relevant regional, sub-regional and cross-border dynamics in delivering progress towards the 2030 Agenda for  Sustainable Development.  In preparing the CCA update, human rights-based approach has been used as one of the guiding principles and the evidence has been drawn from published systematic reviews, research and new data. Finally, the CCA update identifies opportunities and entry points for UN Development System to respond effectively to Zimbabwe’s national development priorities and aspirations to accelerate the country’s achievement of SDGs.
