UN Country Team - Zimbabwe COVID-19 weekly update Issue 17

The United Nations Country Team in Zimbabwe weekly update on COVID-19 covering the week ending on 21 August 2020 shows that Zimbabwe has 5,815 (44.85% female and 55.15% Male) confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 4,587 recoveries and 152 deaths (source MOHCC).

The issue highlights UN and partners support in rehabilitating COVID-19 isolation and case management in Manicaland Province; new guidance for safe and healthy journeys to school; promoting human rights for returning migrants in COVID-19 response; and voices from the field in the response to COVID-19.
