About the event
Climate change has meant that the severity and frequency of storms has increased and is likely to be on the rise. Drought, warmer air temperatures and rising sea leaves mean storm surges will be more powerful, as seen with the
Cyclone last year.
The United Nations in collaboration with the National Gallery of Zimbabwe will be holding a reflective virtual exhibition showcasing relief and recovery efforts in response to the impact of Cyclone Idai.
